Nanny for A Day

Emma, Janet and Leanne from Nanny for a Day booked me to take some photographs for their website and marketing materials. Janet and Leanne, two of the nannies from the company are pictured above. They kept the children happy throughout the session and our mini models did brilliantly - here are a few pics from the day. A family session in Great Dunmow

I have been photographing this lovely family for a few years now and am honoured to be their chosen photographer. It is good to see that the youngest member Elias is showing the same star quality as his brothers and sisters! C x

Hypnobirthing

One of the most enjoyable things for me is to photograph children as they are growing up. I met this little girl when she was only a week old and then met her again as a little lady this year. I couldn't resist putting in some of these early pictures too - she had such an amazing head of hair!

Cecile, her mummy (see photo above!), did a hypnobirthing workshop with Sarah Ockwell-Smith which really helped her with her through her birth
and she was so inspired by it that she now runs her own hypnobirthing business - worth getting in touch with these ladies if you have a baby on the way...

Sarah is at www.babycalm.co.uk

Annabel at the park

Gradually catching up after a relaxing week away in Norfolk. Here are some preview shots of a lovely, happy little girl that I photographed before going away. Mum and dad brought along a picnic tea for her as we were photographing in the late afternoon - she kept on going and I think the grownups definitely showed signs of flagging before her! Sorry I didn't get to post these before I went - hope you like.

Matthew and Lily go wild

Wendy, the mummy of these two cheeky monkeys, won her photo shoot in a prize draw - yay! We had a lovely time exploring the countryside and a gorgeous old tractor.  I love it when parents come armed with interesting things we can use - on this occasion it was animal suits and binoculars!  Here are just a few of my faves from the day...

Welcome!

At last my blog is live and what better way to celebrate than with a few shots of my beautiful new niece Lilly Kay - I am a very proud aunty indeed! Sneak previews of recent shoots coming soon. I promise I shall do my best to keep my blog updated but during very busy times, things may get a little sleepy around here...
